Ssshhh… The water evaporates with a loud hiss on the stones of the sauna oven. A wonderful crackling sound, and just you and me in the Finnish sauna. The heat lets us forget everything. The skin tingles, the first beads of sweat slowly emerge. Take a deep breath, exhale calmly. Your mind clears. The heat wipes away all unnecessary thought and only the wonderful memories of today remain. Time flies and the heat slowly subsides. Is it already time to leave? Hmm… Better take another half-ladle and hear a brief “ssshhh” from the sauna oven.

Our swimming area at the Garberhof family hotel is a place where dreams come true. Before-breakfast swimmers can clock up a few lengths of crawl in the indoor or outdoor pools. Less active swimmers are fully catered for, with views of the Dolomites and even the Kronplatz from the edge of the pool. The massage jets and waterfall are bliss for pleasure swimmers, while the counter-current system is perfect for fun swimmers. But, no matter what type of swimmer you are, you are sure to get wet!

The jolly farmyard animals in our baby and children’s pool are sure to provide lots of water fun. Here the kids can spray, splash about and above all have lots of laughs. Perfect for water babies!
